Principal's Message     

"SVE is committed to the success of the well-being of every student.  Our learners will develop the knowledge, skills and characteristics that will lead them to become successful, productive and engaged citizens.  Our school will be characterized by high expectations and success for all.  We will be responsive, high quality, accessible and integrated throughout all of our grades."  (SVE Mission/vision as adapted from 'Achieving Excellence:  A renewed vision of Education in Ontario - April 2014'.)

Report cards went home on February 23th.  If you have any concerns please feel free to contact the school.

Allergy Alert

We are continuing our efforts to help the school keep all students safe and healthy.  We are a nut free school.  Please do not send food to school which contains peanuts or nut products such as peanut oil, peanut flour, etc.  Reading labels is important.  Thank you.

Pediculosis

Please read the information on the back of this sheet regarding head lice.  Please check your child's head on a weekly basis and make sure all nits are removed.   If you need more information please phone your pharmacist who will help you choose the proper treatment.

Tabs for Wheelchairs

The Elora Legion gave out 0 wheelchairs during the month of February. Thank you to Cambria Smith, Mason Savage and Ellis McRonald for your contribution of tabs.

Carnaval Winter Festival at SVE

Carnaval was held on Feb. 28.   Thank you to those who volunteered to help run this successful cultural event.
