December 2017 Newsletter

From the Principal's Office

Happy December!  Only two weeks until te Christmas Break and things are very busy here at SVE.  We are pleased to be hosting the annual turkey dinner again this year.  Many thanks to the SCC for organizing this event.  Also, we are doing a food drive - information was sent home concerning this.  Please donate if you can.  We would like to wish the students and families of SVE a safe and happy holiday season.  We hope that 2018 brings good health and happiness.

Breakfast Program

The breakfast club happens each morning at SVE and sometimes children forget their lunch so they are given food from the breakfast club.  Monetary donations are appeciated by the club at any time throughout the school year and some students have birthday parties and donate cash to the club instead of receiving gifts. Any donation will be used to buy food for the breakfast club.  Please let us know if you require a receipt for your donation and thank you for your interest in the breakfast club.  Thanks also to the many volunteers who look after the day to day operation of the club.
